Cowhide Leather Jump Rope, Wood Handles
Wood handles top each end of this jump rope, turned to a smooth taper and fitted with a metal bearing where the rope attaches, so the cord spins freely rather than twisting with every turn. The rope itself is cowhide leather, running 2.8 meters end to end before you trim it to your height. It weighs 470 grams, noticeably heavier in the hand than a plastic speed rope, which slows the swing down and makes for a steadier rhythm rather than a fast one. Only one colorway ships: cowhide. There's no length adjustment built in; you shorten it yourself by tying off or cutting, a one-way change once it's done. It suits a slower training pace, boxing footwork, or warmups more than competitive double-unders, where a lighter cable rope wins on speed.
