Forged Kitchen Cleaver, Wood Handle

The blade is forged from stainless steel and carries a thick spine that tapers down to a wide, heavy edge built for cutting through bone and thick cuts of meat rather than fine slicing work best left to a paring knife. A round hole sits near the base. It's sized to hang the knife on a hook instead of leaving it loose in a drawer. The handle is Wenge wood, dense and dark, set onto the tang for a solid grip. This one is sold on its own, measuring about 26.6 centimeters end to end and weighing 350 grams. It won't suit delicate work like peeling. A sheathed version and multi-knife sets with a scabbard are also available separately if needed.
