T-Slot Woodworking Milling Cutter, Flat End
Cutting a clean T-slot on a router table is close to impossible by hand, so this milling cutter uses a hard alloy blade ground to a 57mm cutting diameter and two effective cutting edges that shear wood fiber instead of tearing it. The shank is a round 12.7mm, sized for the collet on most routers sold for this kind of joinery work. Maximum depth of cut sits at 15mm per pass, so a deep slot still needs two or three passes rather than one aggressive plunge. Two profiles are available: version A clears the corner cut on a 12 by 57mm slot, version B trims the bottom corner at 1/2 by 57mm. Each cutter weighs just 150 grams. It ships in a small 40 by 70 by 100mm box, and it cuts wood and similar soft material only.
